The defending double champion, Daniel Peart, playing with Graeme as his third (Between them they have won the Trophy for the last 5 years) are not having things their own way. Last nights game saw them falling well behind, then coming strong with a 4, to level the game at 5-5 only to lose a 5 in the next end !
Current standings see the returning John McOmish standing strong with a 100% win record with the other two teams at one win and one peel apiece. Anyone could still take the first pies of the season but Julia is happy that her skip has them in pole position.
