In the club's first outing of the New Year it was perhaps appropriate for Team McOmish to secure The Thirds Crown. It was a game of two halves, but Team John including John Good, Gavin Morton and the hybrid Maguire/Wood came out of the blocks strongly. They secured the first four ends before conceding the last three. As a result with wins in their first three games and faltering of the opposition win the first Pies of 2025.
